Material standards and chemical requirements for galvanized sheets

Galvanized sheets refer to steel sheets with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is a frequently used economical and effective rust prevention method, and about half of the world’s zinc production is used for this process.
1. Scope:
This standard for galvanized sheets specifies the contact agent used in the hot-dip galvanizing drying process – zinc chloride + ammonium chloride (2 or 3 salt compounds). The supplier or manufacturer of the material shall meet the following requirements of this standard:
2. Process requirements: colorless or light yellow crystals. Grade: There are two grades to choose from; Standard: Standard plus wetting agent;
3. Qualification certificate:
A certificate of conformity to this standard must be attached upon delivery.

The standard range of zinc-aluminum alloy materials is 1.
This standard specifies the zinc and aluminum ingots added to the zinc pool during hot-dip galvanizing, and the supplier or manufacturer of the material shall meet the following requirements of this standard.

2. Process requirements
2.1 Chemical composition
Aluminum = 4.5-5.0% Copper = maximum 0.001% Magnesium = 0.002% Lead = 0.003% Cadmium = maximum 0.003% Iron = maximum 0.002% Sh = 0.002%
2.2 Weight: about 9.5-10kg.

3. Approval certificate
A certificate of conformity to this standard must be attached upon delivery.
